Cataract and lens counselling
Evaluation, biometry and IOL discussions can be coordinated through the JEWCC network. When surgery is advised, the team explains the procedure location and follow-up plan.
Pregnancy and gynaecology
Consultant-led care for pregnancy, periods, PCOS, fertility concerns, contraception, menopause and preventive women’s health in a dedicated consultation setting.
Prevention and continuing care
Screening histories, vaccination needs, chronic conditions and previous reports are reviewed so the next investigation or follow-up interval has a defined purpose.
Optical support
Spectacle requirements can be discussed after refraction and examination, with an in-centre optical section available for frame and lens guidance.
Coordinated referrals
When an operation, admission, advanced investigation or another specialist is required, the team helps organise the appropriate next setting rather than leaving the pathway disconnected.
