Jaypuriya Eye and Women Care Centre brings two consultant-led specialties together: comprehensive ophthalmology and women’s healthcare.
The aim is straightforward—make the diagnosis carefully, explain choices without pressure and keep the patient connected as care moves from consultation to investigation, treatment, surgery or follow-up.
Our story
Built locally, with experience gathered across teaching hospitals and outreach programmes.
Dr. Anand Jaypuriya’s ophthalmology journey includes anterior-segment and medical-retina fellowships, consultant responsibilities in specialist eye-care systems and private practice in the Mumbai region since 2013. Dr. Shilpa Jaypuriya’s postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology supports care across pregnancy, menstrual and reproductive health, menopause and prevention.
Their work came together as a growing local network: an eye-care and surgical base in Nallasopara East, neighbourhood access in Virar East and a combined Eye and Women Care Centre in Virar West.

Community ophthalmology remains part of the story.
